Hey there, Debbie!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with an excellent
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm thrilled to hear you'll be heading down to The Most Magical Place on Earth very soon! There's no place more enchanting than the Walt Disney World Resort during springtime. I'd be happy to help you plan out your visit to the
Disney Resort hotels surrounding Magic Kingdom Park.
Debbie, at this time, only registered Resort hotel Guests and/or Guests with dining or
Enchanted Extras Collection reservations are permitted to park a personal vehicle at a Disney Resort hotel. Therefore, if you hope to spend time at any of the Resort hotels connected to Magic Kingdom Park by the
Resort Monorail, I encourage you to make a dining reservation at one of these pixie-dusted properties! Guests may make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, so you're currently within your dining window. I'm happy to share a few personal recommendations that still show availability at the time of writing:
- Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort offers delightful Asian and American dinner options in an open-air setting overlooking the gorgeous resort lobby. My favorite menu item is the Verlasso Salmon (my mouth is watering just remembering this dish!) and don't miss the warm Pineapple-Coconut Bread Pudding!
- Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is set against scenic Seven Seas Lagoon, providing dining Guests stunning waterfront views and coastal culinary masterpieces. This upscale retreat is the perfect spot for a quiet dinner, and if you time your meal out just right, you could catch Happily Ever After from the comfort of your table.
- Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a delightful option for Disney die-hards, as it offers menu items inspired by some of Walt Disney's favorite dishes! Lunch is my favorite meal to enjoy here and the Steak "Frites" is not-to-be-missed.
After your meal, you'll be welcome to take the Resort Monorail around to each of the other Resort hotels to enjoy the many shops and lounges, Debbie! Perhaps you could end your evening at
Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace, one of my favorite spots on property to enjoy a beverage and live entertainment. Finally, cap off your magical tour by viewing the
Electrical Water Pageant as it winds whimsically around Seven Seas Lagoon that evening!
Debbie, I hope you've found these recommendations helpful as you gear up for an exciting day at The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any additional questions ahead of your trip, feel free to stop back by
planDisney again anytime. We're here to help you make magical memories!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
