Hello Shelley,
Welcome to planDisney. I'm thrilled to answer your question today!
Yes,
Lightning Lane Passes will give you the option to review available times before completing your purchase. I just walked through a sample scenario and am happy to share the step-by-step process.
Once in
your purchasing window (7 days before check-in for Disney Resorts Collection hotel guests and 3 days before ticket start date for off-site guests) you can access the information in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Click the "Purchase" button on the main page of the app (the home icon at the bottom left) and then select your preferred date from the calendar. On the next screen, choose the park where you want to make your selections and whether you want to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lighting Lane Single Pass, or both.
I used Thursday, August 8 at
Magic Kingdom Park for my test run. Lightning Lane Single Pass time slots were currently unavailable when I attempted to purchase, but I was able to select 3 Multi Pass attractions. Place a check in the box for your selections and then click "Continue" at the bottom of the screen. The next page will ask you to indicate which eligible guests from your party to purchase for. Check or uncheck the appropriate names and click "Continue" again.
Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, and Disney's Hollywood Studios have eligible
attractions divided into groups. I selected Big Thunder Mountain Railroad as my group one choice and opted for Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean as my group two selections before clicking "Continue" to proceed. The following screen gave me eligible return times which I could adjust by clicking the "Modify Time" link under each experience.
Once you are satisfied with your itinerary, click "Continue" to move to the checkout screen. I love that Lightning Lane Passes will hold your selection times for a few minutes as you complete the checkout process. You can even modify your selections and/or return times, subject to availability, throughout the day if your plans change.
I hope this clears up any confusion, Shelley. If you need live technical assistance feel free to stop by to speak with a member of the
Guest Experience Team in the parks. They should be able to help troubleshoot any issues in real-time.
Wishing you a magical visit!
Amy
