Just want to upload my Florida residency

Hello there, Eric! planDisney welcomes you, and as a fellow Floridian, I'm happy to help you today. Your Walt Disney World Resort visit is just a couple of sunrises away, so let's look at how you can take advantage of those Florida resident perks while you're here. I'll pour some ice-cold orange juice and get started!

When you purchase theme park tickets online, you'll sometimes have the option to verify Florida residency during the checkout process. If you were unable to submit proof of residency at that time, you will need to show your documents in person at the theme park entrance before your first visit.

If you booked a Disney Resort Hotel with a resident discount, YAY! Those are the best! You will show valid proof of residency at the Front Desk to ensure the special offer is applied to your stay.

My husband and I became Annual Passholders a few years ago, and we only presented our proof of residency for our Disney Pixie Dust Pass the first time we used it. Now, we head to the parks like we own the place! If you plan to visit a few times a year, I highly recommend looking into becoming a passholder. The perks and benefits are a fabulous bonus to the resident offers. It's fun to compare them and choose the best deal! And you can typically apply what you've spent on an unused theme park ticket to an annual pass.

Eric, I hope your visit is full of that famous Florida sunshine. Please stop by planDisney anytime. I'll be the one wearing sunglasses!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine

Bright Suns! I'm Elaine, a retired teacher dividing my time between my home state of Kentucky and the Sunshine State. I married my college sweetheart, and now that our only son is grown, we are exploring the empty-nest life. My family has been visiting Walt Disney World Resort for over 25 years, so if you have questions about adult-only visits, plant-based meals, thrill attractions, and Florida-resident perks, I'm here for you in full Force. Like Yoda would say, "Trips, we will plan!" Learn More About Elaine
