Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar reopens for Guests to enjoy, some of my favorite memories have taken place there! I enlisted the help of a Cast Member, and unfortunately, there is still not a formal date of when it will reopen. She recommended checking the
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar page on the Disneyland site for a formal announcement. As of now, it says that it will be closed through Spring 2026, and
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill also is currently under refurbishment.
A nearby option to explore is the
Palm Breeze Bar at the Disneyland Hotel! They have a fresh menu of several unique cocktails to enjoy, as well as several shareable plates, sandwiches, and pizzas. Even though the atmosphere of Trader Sam's is hard to replicate, the Palm Breeze Bar is a great option while also enjoying the magical ambiance of the Disneyland Hotel.
As soon as you see that Trader Sam's will be reopening, I would try to secure a
dining reservation as soon as possible. Even if there are no dining reservations available right away, don't give up hope, and keep checking all the way up to your trip! Plans change for Guests all the time, and you never know when a reservation could become available. You could even walk over to the Disneyland Hotel during the first day of your trip and inquire with a Cast Member if they have any insight into when it will reopen.
