Hi Lindy! Welcome to planDisney. A December visit to the Disneyland Resort sounds like a great way to celebrate the holiday season. And I too would want the option to hop between both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure throughout the day. Let’s talk about how to make that happen.
The quick answer to your question is yes! You are able to add park hopping to your already purchased 3-day park tickets online. You have a couple of ways of doing so. First, you can log into your
MyDisney account on the Disneyland website and click “My Plans.” You should see your existing tickets listed there. There should also be a button labeled “Change Ticket.” Click on that button and it will guide you through the process of adding park hopping, including paying any additional cost needed.
Alternatively, you can also upgrade your tickets via the
Disneyland app. To do so in the app, click on the hamburger icon in the bottom right corner and then select “My Ticket & Passes” on the next screen. From here, choose your tickets, and then click “Change Ticket.” This will once again allow you to purchase park hopping for your tickets, as long as that option is available.
If you have any questions as you are going through the process, I would recommend calling the
Tickets phone line and speaking with a Cast Member. They will be able to take a look at your specific account and help you through the steps needed.
One final note, Lindy: you should be aware that park hopping does need to be added to all three days you will be visiting the parks. At this time, it is not possible to add park hopping to individual days of multi-day theme park tickets.
