Hi r! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your question!
Oh boy! Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is just around the riverbend, and I am happy to help finalize all those last-minute details! According to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules page, backpacks that are larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not permitted. This also goes for coolers, suitcases, and bags. I have been able to bring in a Jansport backpack in the past with no issues, as well as a Loungefly-sized backpack. As long as your backpack fits these dimensions, you should be good to go!
Visiting Walt Disney World in June is fun, but there are days when the heat can be a bit unbearable. Beat the heat by packing sunscreen, cooling towels, and a portable fan! I like to return to my Disney Resort hotel in the afternoons when the sun is fierce and spend time at the pool and relax before returning in the evenings. Keep track of all nighttime events (such as EPCOT's new show, Luminous The Symphony of US) by checking the
Hours & Events calendar on the Walt Disney World website, as well as the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
r, I hope all of this information was helpful! Thanks again for visiting planDisney, and have a magical vacation!
Magic Awaits!
Frances
