Can you add the dining plan after your vacation has been paid in full? If so, how many days before your vacation can you add it?

Hi there, Maureen, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you've stopped by with this question about your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. Your visit will be here in a few short weeks, so now is the perfect time to finalize your plans!

Maureen, I'm a huge fan of dining plans at Walt Disney World Resort. If you're the type of person who likes to be spontaneous and make dining decisions on the go, the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan might be perfect for you! If you're like me and love to have an Advance Dining Reservation at a table service restaurant each day, you might enjoy the Disney Dining Plan. Either way, I think you'll find that the convenience and value make a dining plan a great addition to your vacation!

I reached out to a helpful Cast Member who let me know that if you'd like to add a dining plan to your Disney Resort Hotel Package, you should be able to do so up to the day before you arrive for your vacation. You can modify your vacation package online in your My Disney Experience account. If you booked a room-only reservation, you'll want to call a friendly Cast Member to add a dining plan to your reservation. I recommend doing this as soon as possible, since your vacation is rapidly approaching!

Maureen, I hope this is helpful. If you'd like any recommendations on where to find amazing meals and snacks during your vacation, you have a friend in me! Please stop back by planDisney anytime!

    See you real soon!
