I have two, three-day passes that were purchased in 1981 before Epcot opened. Can I use these tickets?

Greetings Peggy and welcome to planDisney!

The year is 1981. You are walking down the aisle with a diploma in your hand, hair styles are crazy, wire rimmed glasses are in vogue, you are entering the twilight zone.  Oh, wait, that is just me, graduating from high school! Yes, I am from the class of 1981, just like your long lost, unused Disney tickets!

Just like your unused, undated Disney tickets, we do still have some life left in us! If you do have unused days left on your tickets, the Disney policy is to honor any unexpired theme park tickets that do have unused days remaining! Most tickets today have expiration dates after the first date of use based on the ticket purchase date.

To find out the status of your tickets and get them linked to your My Disney Experience account so you can use them on a future trip, you’ll need to call the Disney ticket information phone line. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to help you figure out the value of your old park tickets and convert them into new ones!

Have the old tickets in hand with any information readily available to help the Cast Member determine if the tickets do have any remaining days available. If they are as valuable as I am after all of these years, you have a treasure trove that only Scrooge McDuck would appreciate!

Peggy, you can also take your 1981 tickets to any Walt Disney World theme park ticket window or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, and a friendly Cast Member would help you convert any unused days into a current digital ticket for you to use.

Peggy, once you do get your 1981 ticket ready to roll, it's time to put on your parachute pants, grab your Sony Walkman, and give us your best Bette Davis Eyes on your way to the most magical place on earth!

Have a great time and don’t forget to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
