Hi Nancy. A very warm welcome to planDisney. First, and most importantly, I am sending so much love and strength to you from all of us here at planDisney. I have unfortunately been through the process with both my mom, and myself.
When my mom was in the later part of her journey, Disneyland Resort was her happy place. One of the last pictures I have with her is her and I on Mad Tea Party, at Disneyland Park. It was hard for her at times, and we had to allow her to listen to her body and needs to make it work, so I do understand the concerns about visiting while under-going treatments.
Nancy, tickets cannot be sold, and are non-transferable once used, but if your
California resident tickets have not been used for any portion of a visit, you can reassign the ticket to a family or friend. The Guest must be a California resident living within the eligible zip codes, as they may check IDs upon entry. When they scan into the parks for the first time, the ticket would then officially be assigned and locked to them.
As you know, the California resident tickets must be used by May 21, 2026. Each Guest must have their own
Park Reservation to be able to enter the Disneyland Resort theme parks. As the California resident tickets are Park Hoppers, Guests will select their starting park, but they will be able to hop over to the other park after 11 A.M.
Nancy, my heart is with you as you navigate this journey. We are here for you when you are ready to return to the Happiest Place On Earth.
Sending pixie dust and healing wishes.
Kimberly
