Hi, Richard!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for asking us a question about the
Disneyland Resort. I’m glad to hear your family is making a journey to visit the Happiest Place on Earth soon!
As a dog owner myself, I understand the need for your four-legged friend to travel with you. While the Disneyland Resort no longer has a kennel on property, there are several local kennels, boarding facilities, and doggy daycares in the Anaheim area as well as a number of pet-friendly Disneyland Resort
Good Neighbor Hotels. You may also be able to find an individual pet care arrangement that works for you, such as a one-on-one pet sitter who can stay with your furry friend in your hotel room while you're exploring the theme parks. I recommend checking out sites like BringFido.com and Rover.com to help connect you with the facilities and services you'll need for your dog during your vacation.
Richard, be sure to check out the Disney Tails merchandise sold at
World of Disney and
Disney Home during your visit to the
Downtown Disney District. It’s a “pawsome” collection of Disney-themed toys and other essentials for dogs, like pet beds, food bowls, collars, leads, and even costumes and spirit jerseys! You might just find the perfect souvenir to bring back for your good boy or girl.
I hope this information helps, Richard, and that your visit to the Disneyland Resort is pixie-dusted to perfection. Please send us more questions as you continue to plan your cross-country trip!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
