Hiya, Rochiel, and welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy, I bet you are simply giddy with excitement since your trip to The Happiest Place on Earth is just two weeks away! Before you know it, you’ll be off to Neverland, soaring with Dumbo, and traveling to a galaxy far, far away.
As a fellow dog mom, I appreciate your question and completely understand not wanting to leave your furbaby behind. Only
service animals are permitted at the Disneyland Resort, so as long as your pooch pal meets that criteria, you are welcome to bring them along on your adventure. Remember, service animals must remain on a leash or harness at all times, and you must retain control of them as you go about your day. While there are designated service animal relief areas, your pup is welcome to use any open outdoor area for relief. Just make sure you pick up after them and leave the area clean.
The
Disneyland Resort Property Rules state that strollers greater than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length are not permitted on property. Additionally, wagons, stroller wagons, and trailer-like objects that are pulled by a person are
not permitted. As long as your pet stroller fits within the allowed dimensions and meets all the guidelines set forth in the property rules, you should be permitted to whisk your service animal around in it, though it is ultimately up to the discretion of the security Cast Members. Remember, your pup must still remain on a leash or harness within the pet stroller, and you need to follow the
full set of rules for using strollers at the Disneyland Resort.
I hope this information puts your mind at ease, Rochiel. If you think of anything else before you set off on your magical adventure, don’t hesitate to stop back by. We’re all ears and happy to help!
See ya real soon,
Alyssa
