Hello there, Daryl!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for asking us a question about the
Disneyland Resort. It sounds like you may have a magical visit on the horizon, and I hope you’re looking forward to it!
As a dog owner myself, I understand wanting to bring your furry friend along to enjoy some of the Disney magic with you. While
service animals are welcome at most locations throughout the
Downtown Disney District, this does not include pets or companion animals, so you aren't able to bring your dog along. This rule still applies even if the animal is on a leash or in a carrier. For more on the Disneyland Resort’s animal policies, you can review the full
list of rules.
Daryl, be sure to check out the Disney Tails line of merchandise sold at
World of Disney and
Disney Home during your visit to the Downtown Disney District. It’s a fun collection of Disney-themed toys and other essentials for dogs and cats, like pet beds, toys, food bowls, collars, leads, and even costumes and spirit jerseys! You might just find the perfect souvenir to bring home to your good boy or girl.
I hope this information helps, Daryl, and that your visit to the Disneyland Resort is pixie-dusted to perfection. Please send us more questions as you continue to plan.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
