Hello there, Susan and welcome to planDisney.
I’m so happy that you found us here and I’ll be more than happy to answer your question. Before I do, I have one very important thing to say. “Thank you!” I’m not sure who the veteran is in your life but please extend my thank you to them, or yourself. As a military spouse myself, this question is close to home.
Unfortunately, if the veteran did not retire, they are not
eligible for this military promotion. However, I did come across some additional pixie dust. There are currently a few additional
special offers, deals & discounts that may work for your family.
Depending on when you are wanting to visit, I highly recommend this
delicious deal. You will be able to enjoy a free dining plan when you purchase a non discounted 3-night, 3-day Walt Disney World package. That means you’ll enjoy a stay in a Disney Resort, theme park ticket and dining! Have you heard that things do in fact taste better when they are Mickey-shaped?
As I think back on previous Disney vacations, I do recall booking a handful or
vacation packages without using the military offer. Even though we are a military family, sometimes the deals and discounts Disney World offers are a better option! So please, keep wishing on stars, and planning for your upcoming visit.
To save some extra money, my family and I will usually book our stay at a
value resort. You’ll still get to enjoy some of the
benefits of staying at a Disney Resort, like the available transportation to and from the theme parks. Plus, saving money at a value resort allows us to either enjoy more days in the parks or splurge on extra snacks and souvenirs.
Susan, I do hope this helps. Please be sure to
visit us again if you have any other questions or need any other money saving tips.
Reach for the stars,
Shantel
