Hiya, David!
I’m so happy your question has brought you to us here at planDisney. Welcome! It sounds to me like you have an upcoming split stay. Those are my favorite! I was just telling my husband that it feels like two separate vacations.
Since there are two different resorts involved, your reservations will remain separate. You can link both reservations to your
My Disney Experience account so that you can keep track of both of them and have the reservation numbers accessible.
As you prepare to make that resort switch, I highly recommend dropping off your bags that need to be transferred at
Bell Services. We like to do that before we head to the
theme parks for the day so that we don’t have to worry about returning to the resort before check-out time. By the time we are ready to return to the resort for the evening, our bags will be at our new resort’s bell services. This makes the mid-vacation switch so much easier! Another tip you’ll want to consider is using one luggage for the first resort and the other for the second resort stay. That way you have less to pack and unpack for each stay.
I can’t wait to hear about your trip, David. Which two resorts will you be staying at? Our most recent split stay began at
Animal Kingdom Lodge and ended at
Coronado Springs. Both resorts were beautiful and so enjoyable. I honestly forgot both resorts happened in one visit! Don’t forget to
schedule those dining reservations either! There’s pleanty of delicious options like,
Boma! I love an early Boma breakfast before hitting the parks.
Enjoy your stay,
Shantel
