Hi Kanoko,
Thanks for sailing by planDisney! It sounds like you are getting ready for a magical
Disney Cruise Line vacation––that's so exciting! I'm glad you brought your question to us.
Choosing Disney Cruise Line to provide your
Ground Transportation is a wise one. When you book your transportation, your Port Arrival Time will be assigned for you during online check-in. This time is typically one of the earlier arrivals. You will receive an email 48 hours before your embarkation date which will include information regarding your pick-up time and other instructions regarding your ground transportation. Usually, you can expect a departure around 9:30 a.m., but it will vary based on how many Guests are utilizing the transportation and other factors. So, be on the lookout for the email to know when Captain Minnie and the crew will be ready for your arrival!
Kanoko, I have a few tips to share for your embarkation day! You will want to
place your Disney Cruise Line luggage tags on the bags you intend to check before you board Ground Transportation. That way, as soon as you arrive, the stevedores (a fancy name for the crew who take care of making sure your luggage is loaded on the ship) will know how to direct your bags. And speaking of bags, be sure to pack the items you will need on the ship before your luggage is available. I usually pack a water bottle, some sunscreen, and any
medications or valuables I'm bringing for my cruise. You will also need your
government-issued ID and other boarding documents.
You will be setting sail before you know it, Kanoko. We are happy to answer other questions you may have or offer you tips for making the most of your vacation, so stop by again any time!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
