Hello, Debbie!
Welcome to planDisney! It always makes me happy to respond to a question from another Nevadan! As you may know,
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite pre-sale tickets for Magic Key holders are sold out and general admission tickets go on sale on February 23, 2024. If you have not purchased your tickets yet, I recommend trying to do so as soon as they are on sale. Tickets for
Star Wars Nite are in high demand!
Since
Star Wars Nite is a separately ticketed event, theme park tickets and reservations are not needed to attend the event. Guests just need their
Star Wars Nite tickets to enter Disneyland Park. The event occurs from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM, but Guests can enter as early as 6:00 PM. This gives you 3 extra hours to enjoy Disneyland before traveling to a galaxy far, far away! I usually make table-service dinner reservations during this time, which allows me to focus on special experiences during the event instead of trying to find food (although, I always make room in my belly for some of the themed treats). If you want to enter Disneyland Resort before 6:00 PM, valid park tickets and reservations will be needed.
Reservations are usually required to build a lightsaber at
Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers. I just checked the reservation availability on some of the
Star Wars Nites, and the latest time I found was 7:50 PM. We are still awaiting additional details about
Star Wars Nite, and it is unclear if Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers will be open during the event. I recommend building a lightsaber between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM if reservations are available. This way, your lightsaber will be ready when it is time to join the Resistance, and you can enjoy experiences only available during the event!
Debbie, thank you for contacting us at planDisney! If you have more questions, feel free to
reach out to me directly.
May the Force be with you!
Jen
