Hi! We have a trip planned very soon and I will be renewing my DAS pass. However 4 of the 7 people going are getting in with a cast member. Can I link their account so I can put them under my pass? I will have a regular ticket. Can I also do it by phone?

Hey there, Jeannie! I am so happy to welcome you to planDisney. Traveling to the Most Magical Place on Earth with family and friends sounds perfect, especially when you can describe your trip as "very soon." That's my favorite kind!

Have you been to Walt Disney World Resort since the new system for applying for Disability Access Services (DAS) was implemented? The process starts with a live chat you can schedule up to thirty days before your arrival. If are determined eligible for DAS, it remains effective for 120 days.

One of the first steps before you initiate the video chat is ensuring everyone in your group is connected to your Family & Friends list.

Part of the directions in applying and getting your party set up with your DAS group includes having a valid theme park admission for each member of your party during the registration process. If your family or friends who are going with the Cast Member are using one of their complimentary tickets, they can link these to their MyDisney accounts and be included in the process. If the Cast Member is accompanying them at the gates as their Guest, you will need to visit Guest Relations at the theme park on the day of your visit to have them added to your group. You should be aware that the maximum party size for DAS is 4, including the DAS Guest. Exceptions may be made if you are visiting with more than 3 members of your immediate family.

The video chat can be done on a laptop, tablet or phone, but it requires video. If you are using your phone or laptop, download Zoom before your scheduled call if you do not have it installed.

As part of your trip planning, you may wish to check out the Accessibility Planning Guide & Recommendations and Sensory Experience Details for helpful resources for your visit to Walt Disney World.

I hope your trip is practically perfect in every way! If you have any other questions, please come see us again at planDisney!

    Cheers!
