Hey there, Jessica!
Thanks for hitching a ride over to planDisney. My family experienced
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for the first time last month and loved every knee-slapping, finger-licking minute. The food was plentiful (and oh so delicious) so I completely understand why you'd want to secure reservations for your September trip.
I looked at the availability calendar and found no reservations available for the dates you mentioned, despite trying a few different party sizes. However, I was able to see availability for each day earlier that week, aside from Mondays and Tuesdays when the experience is closed. I also found availability for Friday and Saturday nights on the two previous weekends, at least when searching for a party of 4. It's possible all reservations were already claimed for your dates, but I'm inclined to believe that it's either a technical glitch or the venue is unavailable that night due to a private event.
I checked the hours listed in another database and didn't find any closures or changes noted through the end of September. I also reached out to a Cast Member who agreed that showtimes on those dates probably haven't been released just yet. I recommend checking back over the next few days to see if anything opens up. I'm hopeful you'll be able to dine to your heart's delight as you laugh and sing along, on your preferred date.
In the meantime, you might want to secure
reservations for another restaurant that weekend. You'll be able to
modify your dining reservations (subject to availability) at most locations up to 2 hours before your meal, so you can always cancel if something becomes available at Hoop De Doo. We love all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets (and the Cast Member antics) at
Whispering Canyon Cafe, over at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Though there aren't musical performances here, this would be a fun substitute if you're looking for a similar experience.
Jessica, I hope this helped. Please come back and see us again with more planning questions.
Magic and memories,
Amy
