Howdy, Elizabeth, and welcome to the rodeo known as planDisney! It sounds like you enjoy the great outdoors and a somewhat rustic vibe for your vacations, so you're talking my language.
My family enjoys "glamping" at the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, but you've gone a different route by renting an RV. That sounds like a hootenanny of a good time, so let's look at how the setup process should work during your
Walt Disney World Resort visit.
I chatted with a badge-wearing Cast Member at the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, and she said that procedures for RV rentals have changed recently. She said that as long as you've rented from one of the four preferred providers, here's how the process works.
Once you've booked with the RV company, they will ask for your name, reservation number, and possibly the dates for your visit. From that point, the company will work directly with the cast at the resort to coordinate delivery and setup. Your home-on-wheels will be waiting when you arrive!
To ensure you've booked with a preferred provider, tap "Read more" under the
Fully-Equipped Campsites section on the resort's Overview page. If the company you chose isn't one of those four, I recommend canceling your reservation and booking with one of the approved providers as soon as possible. Feel free to call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations if you have any questions or need additional assistance.
My husband and I recently met some pals at Pioneer Playhouse for "vittles" and a show at
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. We sat in the balcony above the stage and had a rip-roaring time. I highly recommend this family-style dinner, so come hungry and get ready to chuckle!
Elizabeth, I hope your visit is a real hoedown! Please stop by
planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
