Hello there, Anna! Welcome to planDisney. We love answering questions for Guests like us, so let's get your question answered!
While southern California isn't known to have much rain, it sure has been quite the rainy season lately! If rain is in the forecast, there's still plenty to see and do in the parks. The parks are open rain or shine, but certain attractions may be down from time to time when there's a heavy downfall. If you choose not to go to the parks on one of the days you have a
reservation, that's okay. Whatever days you don't use will still be on your ticket. However, if you have a
multi-day ticket and use it for at least one day, you must use it within 13 days of the first day of use. After that, your ticket will be expired.
My suggestion is just to plan to make the most of it! Pack plenty of layers and extra socks, along with ponchos and rain boots or shoes that dry easily. I also recommend that if you are bringing a bag or backpack, you have plenty of waterproof pouches or resealable plastic bags to keep electronics and certain items safe and dry. My favorite place to beat the heat or the rain in Disney California Adventure Park is the Animation Academy building. I always love the opportunity to see Crush in
Turtle Talk with Crush.
Anna, thanks for taking the time to stop by. I hope you have a magical visit and the weather cooperates for you!
