The days we are planning to go to Disneyland and CA Adventure are now showing rain. How much notice is required to cancel our reservations? How much time do we have to reuse the tickets before the expire?

Hi Caroline! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to ask this great question.

There has been quite a bit of rain lately in California! Some of my favorite memories at The Happiest Place on Earth have been on rainy days, but I know that rainy days aren't for everyone. If you would like to avoid the rain and visit on another date, you can change your plans. While you can wait to cancel on the day you plan to visit, I would suggest canceling as soon as you know you aren't going and at least one day before your visit. You can make changes to your visit provided your new date is in the same or lower ticket tier. This applies to a one-park-per-day ticket, so you do not need to worry about the ticket tiers if you have a multi-day ticket. Be sure to cancel your existing Theme Park Reservations and book new ones, but first, check the availability of reservations for your new desired date and the theme park you would like to visit.

I'm wishing you a magical visit and lots of sunshine at The Happiest Place on Earth! If you have more planning questions before you arrive, please stop by planDisney again. Rain or shine, we're here to help!

    Happy Planning!
    Smiles,
