If I book tickets for March 7th and it ends up raining that day can I reschedule my tickets for a later date? When the latest that a ticket can be cancelled and rescheduled? (24 hours prior, 48 hours prior, 2359 the day before)

Hi Shanna! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by with a question about visiting the Disneyland Resort. I'm happy to help!

Some of my favorite memories at The Happiest Place on Earth have been on rainy days, but I understand that rainy days aren't for everyone. The weather can be unpredictable. It even snowed at the Disneyland Resort this week! If you would like to visit on another date, you can change your plans. There are some important things to keep in mind. You can make changes provided your new date is in the same or lower ticket tier. This applies to a one-park-per-day ticket, so you do not need to worry about the ticket tiers if you have a multi-day ticket. While you can wait to cancel on the day you plan to visit, I would suggest canceling as soon as you decide you aren't going and at least one day before your visit. If you decide to cancel an existing Theme Park Reservation and book a new one, be sure to first check on the availability of reservations for your new desired date and the theme park you would like to visit.

I hope this information helps you make a decision about your upcoming visit. Rain or shine, the magic will be waiting for you, whatever you decide. When you have more planning questions, we will be here at planDisney and would love to help!

    Wishing you magic!
