Hi there. I have purchased 2 tickets for monday March20th for my daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately it will be raining that day. I was wondering if I could change the date of my ticket and postpone it for a week ?

Hello there, Ramona! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question.

The rain sure has been hanging around southern California lately! While the rain can mess up plans for a day, I think a rainy day at Disneyland is better than no day at Disneyland! I understand though if your birthday girl isn't up for a rainy day birthday adventure. If you decide not to take a chance with the rain, you can totally change the day of your visit. You will just need to cancel your theme park ticket reservation. This can be done on the Disneyland website or the Disneyland app. Once you find your reservation dates in your Future Plans, you will be able to cancel the reservations. After that, you can book new theme park ticket reservations as long as the day you are wanting to book has availability and is for the same tier of a ticket or a lower tiered-ticket.

Should the day you are hoping to reschedule be a day that requires a higher-tiered ticket, you can upgrade your tickets to that tier. Ticket upgrades are done in person at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth. Should you have any other questions about your tickets or upgrades, you can always reach out to Ticket Services.

Once you arrive at the parks and head down Main Street, U.S.A., don't forget to head to City Hall or ask a Cast Member in one of the shops for a complimentary birthday button for the birthday girl!

Ramona, thanks again for stopping by. I hope you find the perfect day for all of the birthday celebrations! See you real soon!
