Hello there, Adriana!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question. I'm sorry to hear that your husband won't be able to join you on your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, but I've seen some heartwarming stories about mother/daughter visits and I hope that the two of you will have a magical time!
When purchasing standard
Theme Park Tickets, you are required to assign a name to the ticket, but it is not set in stone. Even if your husband's name is attached to the ticket, your mom is welcome to use it in his stead. The ticket must be used by the same individual Guest throughout its lifetime, so your mom would not be able to give it back to your husband to use another day, for example. The only time a Guest would be asked to present ID would be for location based Special Ticket Offers like the
Southern California Resident Ticket.
If you or your mom consider yourselves foodies, consider spending some time at the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! It would make a wonderful day to walk the various kiosks and sample the foods that are being offered at the Festival. In fact, if you both pick up a Sip and Savor Pass, you can sample from several dishes and share between you so that you can try more items. The
Foodie Guide will help you know what to expect and where to go for the dishes that interest you.
I hope that this response helped to reassure you, Adriana. I wish you and your mom a truly wonderful time together at the Disneyland Resort and please come by again if you have more questions for us. You're always welcome at planDisney!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
