Merry Christmas, Catherine! With "snow" on Main Street, U.S.A., characters dressed in their holiday finest, and a visit from St. Nick, the Most Magical Place on Earth is a great place to visit during the most wonderful time of the year!
The good news is that
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets just went on sale this week, so that means the Christmas party tickets will be next! However, just as we like to countdown to Christmas, we will need to begin a countdown to ticket sales for the Christmas party. Last year, tickets for
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party went on sale for Guests with existing Disney World reservations on July 16. Guests without existing reservations could purchase tickets a week later on July 22.
Catherine, my best guess is that Mickey will follow a similar pattern this year, with tickets going on sale around the same time. The best places to frequently check for updates are the
Walt Disney World Resort website and the
Disney Parks Blog. These will be your most reliable sources of information. Of course, you are always welcome to check back with my friends and me at planDisney!
Catherine, since you are planning to visit at Christmastime, I want to recommend one of my yuletide favorites! Visit the Christmas tree trail at
Disney Springs! Here you will find a stunning display of festive trees decorated in honor of favorite Disney characters, movies, attractions, resorts, and more! Disney Springs usually provides a Christmas tree trail map so that you can keep track of all the trees you found! Unless you visit the North Pole, I’m not sure you’ll find more beautiful Christmas trees than the ones at Disney Springs!
Dreams do come true!
