Hi Gregory,
Welcome to planDisney! Like you, I love the holidays at Walt Disney World and can't wait each year to see what new decorations, treats and activities Mickey has in store for us around the theme parks and resorts.
We don't have an official word yet on the exact dates for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom or
Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios, both after-hours events filled with the holiday spirit. I can tell you that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party usually kicks off the first week in November, shortly after the last Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It then takes place on select nights until the week before Christmas. Jollywood Nights is a newer event, but in 2025, it also began in early November and continued on select nights until just before Christmas.
The
Candlelight Processional at Epcot is such a moving holiday tradition. Again, we haven't heard an exact schedule, and the celebrity narrators aren't usually announced until the fall. However, the processional normally begins its nightly runs on the evening after Thanksgiving and continues through December.
Speaking of Epcot, you also will want to time your visit so that you can enjoy the
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, which runs from about Thanksgiving through the end of the year.
Even though the theme parks and resorts begin decorating in early November, we find that most aren't fully festooned until mid-November.
My husband's birthday is in early December, so we often combine his celebration with time spent soaking in the holiday ambiance at all four of the theme parks -- at a time when the crowds are a little smaller. It's one of our many Disney traditions.
I'm sorry I can't give you exact dates for all the Christmas fun yet, Gregory. I'd keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements of dates and ticket sales for the after hours events and for the list of celebrity narrators for the Candlelight Processional.
And don't hesitate to check back with us if you have other questions about ways to enjoy the holidays at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Enjoy,
Wilma
