Hey there, hi there, Moni! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
I am so excited to see that the magic of
Walt Disney World Resort is calling, and you're answering the call by planning a magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. For me, the planning is half of the fun! However, with so many exciting changes on the horizon and misinformation out there, sometimes, the planning can feel almost as confusing as it is magical. That's what we at planDisney are here for, and I'm more than happy to answer your question today!
To enter the Walt Disney World theme parks, there is no facial recognition used. At this time, you scan your park admission and your fingerprint to enter the parks. When Walt Disney World Resort reopened after the pandemic closure, I heard rumors that some touchless methods of entry were being explored for public safety, but as many times as I have tapped into the parks (and trust me, it has been A LOT), my fingerprint is all that has been required. Tap ... finger ... it's magic time!
During your planning, I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest and greatest official Disney news as soon as it drops. And be sure to stop by here any time you have any questions! You've got a friend in planDisney.
I hope this helps, Moni, and happy planning, my friend! I hope to see ya real soon.
Mandy
