We have a trip planned for New Year’s Eve. I know during holidays Magic Kingdom has been blocked from park hopping during the weekend. Would we be able to park hop from Hollywood Studios to Epcot on NYE? Or is it blocked like MK has been?

Welcome to planDisney, Amanda, and Happy New Year a little early! Before you know it, you'll be ringing in 2024, so let's look at how park hopping might work during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit.

Any blockout dates or restrictions will depend on the type of theme park ticket or annual pass you have, so my first suggestion is to call the Existing Tickets line. The Cast Members can advise you on planning your itinerary once they know your admission type.

If you're referring to theme parks reaching capacity during the busy holiday season, you are correct that New Year's Eve is one of those rare days that one or more parks might suspend the ability for guests to park hop. You can check if a theme park allows hopping by going to your My Disney Experience mobile app and tapping the Park Hours & Info tile. You'll see the parks listed below the calendar, and if park hopping is available, the times to hop will be listed. You can also call (407) 560-5000 for hopping availability or stop by any Guest Relations location.

Amanda, I hope you and Father Time ring in the new year with some Disney magic. Feel free to stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
