Hiya, pal, and welcome to planDisney! Like your cousin, I’m a Floridian and enjoy those resident perks and discounts. Let’s look at which deals your cousin can share with out-of-state friends and family.
Florida resident theme park tickets require guests over 18 to show
proof of Florida residency when they check out online or in person at
Guest Relations. I know your young princesses aren’t 18, but unfortunately, Florida resident ticket offers are exclusively intended for guests who live in Florida.
I know this isn’t the news you were hoping for, but the good news is if your party is staying at a
Disney Resort Hotel, only one guest per room needs to be a Florida resident to get any
available room discounts. Be sure your cousin is listed as the lead guest, and the discount will apply!
If you dine at any restaurant that offers a discount for annual passholders, your cousin can pay for your entire party, and the discount will be applied to everyone's meal. I love all the cash-sharing apps because you can reimburse him immediately!
A bonus tip is that when your cousin places a
mobile order from a quick service location, the My Disney Experience mobile app will automatically apply any discounts he's eligible for. The Caramel Butter Bar at
Karamell-Küche at
ECPOT is a steal with my passholder discount!
I hope your upcoming visit is full of magic and family memories. Please
stop by planDisney anytime. I’ll have a tall glass of Florida orange juice chilling for you!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
