I am taking the disney wonder april 11-14 leave from san diego. I was windering if their will be a pirate night and a formal night

Ahoy there, Stephen! How exciting that your 3-Night Baja Cruise on the Disney Wonder is just a couple of months away. With that in mind, let’s get planning so you know what to pack!

It looks like you can expect to party with the pirates on night two (Saturday) of your cruise. If you want to coordinate costumes with your favorite Disney pals, make sure to pack your favorite pirate garb. Or for an easy costume, my family wears a white shirt, black pants, and the red bandana each Guest receives in their stateroom before dinner. Keep in mind that entertainment is always subject to change.

Speaking of dinner, you and your fellow scalawags will enjoy a festive meal (chosen from a menu shaped like a treasure map) that night. After dinner, head up to the pool deck for a rockin’ show and fireworks at sea. I actually enjoy watching from above on Deck 10 because it gives me a better view of all the festivities.

Because you are taking part in a 3-night sailing on the Disney Wonder, there is not a Formal Night assigned to this cruise, but don’t let that stop you from packing your cruise finest. If an itinerary doesn’t have a specified night to dress up, we usually choose to do so on the final evening. This allows us time to grab some new family photos in the Lobby Atrium or in front of Triton’s. You can even schedule a private session at Shutters Portrait Studio (with no obligation to buy the pictures).

If you need any other advice when it comes to packing, Disney Cruise Line created a handy packing list for their guests. I hope this helps you and your crew prepare for your upcoming adventure. Should you have any other questions before the big trip, don’t hesitate to sail back to planDisney.

    Embrace the magic,
    Sami
