Hey howdy hey, Anna! Thanks for sailing by planDisney again. I’m glad you’re getting ready to sail on another Disney Cruise soon and I’ll be happy to help with your travel question.
Miami and Fort Lauderdale are just a gallop away from each other, but regrettably, Disney Cruise Line does not offer transfers from Miami International Airport to Port Everglades. If you are looking for transportation directly from Miami to the port, I suggest researching Uber or Lyft to see which will give you the better price (I sometimes even find rideshare discounts loaded onto my
Chase Disney Visa Card).
If for some reason your travel plans change and you decide to fly into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, you can take a
Disney transfer to the port from there for $29 each way per person (ages 3 and older). Keep in mind, prices are subject to change without notice.
Since I did mention my Disney Visa, I also wanted to make sure you knew that you can redeem your Disney Rewards Dollars on the ship. You can either use your redemption card directly at shops like
Mickey’s Mainsail or you can take the card to Guest Services and have them credit your onboard account directly. The same is true for Disney Gift Cards if you happen to find those at a discounted rate (like from the big box stores) before your cruise.
While I realize this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, I know you and your crew will still have a magnificent sailing this April on the
Disney Dream. If you think of any other questions before then, don’t hesitate to do-si-do back to us here at
planDisney.
Bon voyage,
Sami
