    Hi! Staying the Yacht Club in July and was wondering about laundry facilities. Where are the washer/dryers located? Are they cash or card operated? Would laundry pods be ok or do they require liquid detergents? Thanks! Amanda

    Hi Amanda, and welcome to planDisney! You have a truly magical visit in store this summer at Walt Disney World Resort! With so many newly opened and reimagined attractions, Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, and America’s 250th Anniversary, it couldn’t be a better time to visit!

    You have chosen an exquisite location at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! It is the epitome of sophistication combined with Disney magic. I'm confident you are absolutely going to love it! With those hot summer days, I can understand why you’d want to take advantage of the laundry facilities. There are currently two laundry rooms at the resort. The primary laundry facility is located in a small building near the Admiral Pool, and the other is a smaller laundry room located nearby inside the resort near Guest rooms (close to room 1063). Laundry pods are safe to use in the drum of the machines, and there are also vending machines to purchase boxes of detergent for approximately $1. The washers and dryers only accept credit/debit cards for payment and can be managed via app using LaundryView.

    While you’re at the Yacht Club, don’t miss Ale & Compass Restaurant! It's one of my favorite restaurants in the entire Walt Disney World Resort, and I think it is one of the most hidden gems. I dream about the Parker House Rolls and spreads and the New England Seafood Pot Pie, but you truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!
