I am planning a trip in 2027. My daughter will be going and taking her service dog. He is trained and certified not an emotional support dog. Are we still restricted to dog friendly hotels? I was wanting to stay at a deluxe resort preferably the Riviera.

Hey there, Patricia, and welcome back to planDisney!

It's been a few years since we've seen you around these parts, and we're so glad to have you back. I'm so happy to hear that you're planning a trip with the people that you love most. We are big fans of Disney's Riviera Resort in this house and are so excited that you're choosing it for your home away from home.

I'm pleased to say that because it's a certified, trained service dog, your daughter and her furry helper can have a tail-wagging good time at any of the Disney Resort Collection hotels, including Disney's Riviera Resort. The pet-friendly resort list you may have found is strictly for pets, emotional support animals, and similar animal sidekicks. While I was looking, I actually stumbled across some great information about service animal accommodations around the property. Hopefully, this will set your family up for success as you tackle the parks each day.

Patricia, I hope I've cleared up any confusion for you. Have the most magical visit in 2027. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat.

    Happy planning!
