How ya doin', Michelle, and welcome to planDisney!
Winds from the east, mist comin' in, the best vacation is about to begin! A kid-free stay at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa with your Prince Charming sounds like the jolliest holiday I've ever heard of. June is a grand time to visit, and at this resort, you're practically perfectly placed for extra magic. It's the best spot in the world for wandering to see the sights. You can even lounge in the lobby and secure a cocktail from
The Perch just to take in the vibes.
When it comes to dining, since you're not catering to the chicken nugget and pizza-only set, I'd start by recommending a dining experience for the two of you. This resort has no shortage of delicious eateries to enjoy. A leisurely breakfast reservation at
The Grand Floridian Café or a romantic dinner at
Narcoosee's or
Citrico's is a great way to spend time together.
This location is also within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom. An early morning stroll towards Cinderella Castle sounds like my kind of fairytale. Stop in at
Main Street Bakery for some coffee and a pastry, and take in the sounds of the park from the hub grass before hitting every attraction that you can. And in the evenings, if the park feels a little too crowded, head back to your home away from home for a view of
Happily Ever After from the far less packed locations all over the resort.
Pro-tip: Being directly on the
Monorail means that a resort crawl should certainly be in your future. Hop aboard your chariot and check out the lounges located at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and
Disney's Contemporary Resort before heading back to get some rest for the night.
Michelle, I'm wishing you all the pixie dust, princess vibes, and hubby cuddles on this vacation. If you have any other questions, just
come back for another chat. My umbrella will bring me soaring straight back to you.
Happy planning!
Taylor
