We are staying at the WDW Beach Club on Monday 12/18. We are staying out first night off propert at the Wyndham Grand Bonnett Creek. Are we allowed to eat at Animal Kingdom Lodge and ride the Disney transportation the Sunday before we stay as guests? We

    Stephanie,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Yes, of course, you are welcome to eat at one of the restaurants at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge as well as use Disney resort transportation even before your stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort begins. My family loves to dine at some of the great restaurants found at Disney resort hotels, not only for the great food but also as an excuse to explore the varied themes. As a matter of fact, on our trip back in November we had a delicious meal at Sanaa, which is quickly becoming one of our favorite destinations!

I would also suggest to you that once you have arrived at the Beach Club, you explore some of the great dining that is just a walk, sail, or Disney Skyliner ride away from your hotel. Disney's Riviera Resort has added some great new options, and even a simple night walking along Disney's BoardWalk can become a dining experience worthy of your stay.

    BONUS TIP
Now it won't be open by your visit in December, but the next time you are there, the Cake Bake Shop, by Gwendolyn Rogers should be open. It is not just a great stop for dessert but also has a full menu. I am fortunate to live just 10 minutes away from one of her two current sites, and the setting and the sweets are worth the visit!

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
