Hi, my daughter will be 9 when we visit disney world next year and we want to go to california grill. She is a foodie for sure, so we are wondering if she would be allowed to order from the adult menu even though she would be a kid?

Hi Keegan and welcome to planDisney!

Dining at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite things to do on vacation!  There are so many fantastic restaurants to choose from at the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs.  It's hard to narrow down just which ones to visit each time!

California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a family favorite of ours.  My son loves a good steak and we know he is sure to get one when we dine there.  I love that your daughter is a foodie!  I am a picky eater, so I can appreciate when others are more adventurous than me.  She is more than welcome to order off the adult menu at California Grill.  The dinner menu is currently a 3 course selection for one price.  This includes an appetizer, entree and a delicious dessert. My picks are always the Sonoma Goat Cheese Raviolo, Oak-fired Filet of Beef and the Valrhona Ganache Torte, although I usually have a hard time choosing between all the dessert options.  My family usually gets something different and we try a little of all of them.  If you are dining there during fireworks time at Magic Kingdom Park, you can enjoy a beautiful view from the outdoor observation deck.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
