We are staying at All Star Sports from November 27 until Dec 1st. We would like to see the gingerbread houses at Grand Floridian and I wonder if there is a bus from Disney Springs to that resort? If there is can we use it since we are not staying there?

Seasons greetings, Kristin, and welcome to planDisney! Holiday visits to Walt Disney World Resort are beyond magical, so I'm thrilled you'll be immersed in the sparkling fun. My pals and I recently explored Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, so let's look at ways you can get there.

Since Disney Transportation is available for all guests, you are welcome to hop aboard a bus to the Grand Floridian from Disney Springs. I recommend checking for signage listing transportation operating hours so you can plan your return to Disney Springs. You'll want to allow plenty of time to enjoy the fabulous Gingerbread House display in the resort lobby!

Another adventurous option is to ride the iconic monorail from Magic Kingdom Park. The Grand Floridian is just a quick glide away if you're visiting that theme park. This plan also allows you to hop off at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Contemporary Resort. I love shopping at resort gift shops, and the monorail is the perfect way to support my habit!

Kristin, I hope you snap some festive photos of the Gingerbread displays. A bonus tip is to try a Gingerbread Shingle; they taste like Christmas! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
