We are visiting Epcot on Thanksgiving day this year! I have a reservation at Corral Reef for dinner. Will they be serving up a traditional turkey meal like they have in the past? What other restaurants will be serving Thanksgiving Dinner in Epcot?

Welcome back to planDisney, Sammi! We're so thankful you stopped by on your way to Walt Disney World Resort. Your Thanksgiving Day visit is sure to be fabulous. It sounds like you're planning to "gobble" some delicious meals, so let's talk about holiday menus.

I did some research and found that Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT has offered a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings in the past. However, the current online menu does not mention that; as of this writing, their regular menu is the only option listed. I decided to "dig in" a bit more by calling Disney Dining, and here's what I found out.

The helpful Cast Member said that, from what she has heard, Coral Reef will not have additional offerings on Thanksgiving Day. She suggested you try the Surf and Turf entree from their regular menu, which includes steak, shrimp, and mashed potatoes. Remember, menu items can change, so maybe some holiday pixie dust will sprinkle a little turkey and gravy on their menu!

If your heart is set on a Thanksgiving bird, I suggest stopping by Garden Grill Restaurant early in the day to see if they have any openings. This rotating restaurant encircles the Living with the Land attraction at EPCOT. It's a character meal that offers traditional holiday fare daily with items like turkey, green beans, and mashed potatoes. And meeting Farmer Mickey makes for fantastic photos!

I'm wishing on a star you get a tummy full of yummy on Thanksgiving, Sammi. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney. We're grateful for guests like you!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
