Hello Jan and welcome back to planDisney!
It is an absolute pleasure to talk with someone who has been a friend of planDisney for a full decade! Thank you!
Jan, first to get to your question, yes, the
Disney Skyliner does make a stop at
Disney’s Riviera Resort! Your Skyliner trip will begin at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. The gondola will glide you to the Caribbean Beach Resort station where you will unload and board a second gondola toward Riviera/EPCOT. You will end your journey at the Riviera station and use the walkway to the Riviera grounds where you will find the entrance to the resort. You’ll travel via elevator to the top floor of the Riviera for your delicious breakfast with Mickey and friends at
Topolino’s Terrace-Flavors of the Riviera!
One thing to consider Jan, the Disney Skyliner officially begins running one hour before the earliest theme park entry time for either Disney’s Hollywood Studios or EPCOT. So, make sure you check the operating hours of the parks for the day you are planning to get your breakfast reservation to make sure the timing works for your reservation time.
Jan, you could also utilize a rideshare service that day. With a confirmed dining reservation, you would be dropped off at the front of the lobby at the Riviera without any problem. You could also sprinkle some pixie dust that morning and ride in a
Minnie Van connected by Lyft! These options do come with an added cost but would allow you to set your own time for pick up and drop off for your reservation.
Topolino’s Terrace breakfast is one of the most sought-after dining reservations at Walt Disney World. I would highly recommend making sure you are ready at 6am sharp on the 60-day mark of your arrival date so you can make that scrumptious dining reservation! Think of it as your first rope drop of your trip!
My family was fortunate to get a reservation at Topolino’s on one of our recent trips, and it was amazing! Minnie gave my grandson a toy and he still talks about it to this day!
Jan, have a great adventure and don’t forget to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
