If I book an accessible room, will the ensure that it is a first floor room for the resorts that do not have elevators I.e. Caribbean Beach

    Hiya, Ashley!

I'm happy to welcome you to planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by with your question! It sounds like you'll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth just as the holiday season begins. What an exciting time to go! While there's no bad time to visit Walt Disney World, there's something extra magical about seeing the parks and resorts dressed up for the holidays. The festive decorations, seasonal entertainment, and cheerful atmosphere make this time of year especially memorable. I have a feeling you're going to have an absolutely wonderful vacation!

Most Disney Resorts have elevators, but there are a handful of buildings at select resorts that do not. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of those exceptions. The good news is that if you reserve a wheelchair-accessible room, it will be assigned on the ground floor, so accessibility won't be a concern.

If Caribbean Beach is on your shortlist, I think it's an excellent option! One of the biggest perks is its location along the Disney Skyliner route, making it incredibly convenient to travel to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Another bonus is being just a short walk from Disney's Riviera Resort, which gives you easy access to some fantastic dining. In fact, Topolino's Terrace is right there, and it's my favorite character dining experience at Walt Disney World. Between the delicious breakfast and the wonderful character interactions, it's a meal I recommend whenever I get the chance!

Ashley, I hope this helps as you narrow down the perfect resort for your Walt Disney World vacation! If any other questions pop up along the way, please don't hesitate to stop by planDisney again. We're always happy to help make your vacation planning a little easier and a lot more magical!

    Happy Planning,
