Hiya, Susan, and welcome back to planDisney! You'll arrive for your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation in just a few sleeps, so I hope your Minnie ears are packed. It sounds like you have family coming along, so this is sure to be a most magical trip. Let's look at how you can enjoy some pixie dust together!
If your family members purchased their admission and booked a hotel separately, then you can stay in the same room and use whatever valid theme park tickets you have. As long as the room's capacity allows you to stay there, the
lead guest can add you by modifying the guest list.
However, if the other members of your group booked a vacation package that bundles tickets and hotel stays, then all guests staying in the room will need to have the
same package. I'm not sure which tickets they purchased, but I see that the
4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket can be booked as part of a package, so I recommend double-checking exactly how their vacation is set up.
You can also call the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line. Those Cast Members can see everyone's account information and advise you of your options. I'm waving my magic wand so you can be one big happy family!
My final tip is to be sure everyone is
linked in Family & Friends on your My Disney Experience accounts. This way, you can book plans together, such as Lightning Lane passes and dining experiences.
Remember, you can
purchase Lightning Lane passes seven days before arrival when you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. My family loves using Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Maybe your group can ride
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets during your visit; I loved the new theme when I rode it last week!
Susan, I hope your trip is one for the record books! Have a fabulous time and stop by
planDisney again.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
