I have tickets for Bananaball on May 30. My pass says "outfield lawn". Where exactly is that??

Welcome to planDisney, Barbara! It's almost time for the first pitch, so let's wind up and get set!

I'm excited, and a little bit jealous, that you scored tickets to the upcoming Banana Ball game at ESPN Wide World of Sports. I entered the ticket lottery, but alas struck out. I'm thrilled for you, though, so let's look at how the event and seating will work. Let's play ball!

I chatted with a strike-calling Cast Member who directed me to the Banana Ball website for specific information about this event. You can click the "Learn More" link under "Know Before You Go" for details, but I'm happy to summarize.

The Outfield Lawn is an open-air grassy area just past third base at The Stadium. For the Banana Ball series, guests can bring blankets or beach towels to sit on, as long as they are no larger than 8' by 8'. Note that folding chairs, tents, and coolers are prohibited.

You'll find Ticket Help Tents set up near all entrances at the stadium, so if you need directions or have questions, feel free to reach out. Also note that re-entry is not permitted, so get ready for a full day of America's Pastime!

My family sat in the Outfield Lawn many years ago for Atlanta Braves spring training, and we had a blast. The atmosphere was like a big outdoor gathering, and my son still talks about running the bases after the game. I'm sure the entertaining Banana Ball players will help you make some wild memories, too!

A final tip: Arrive early for this event. The Loco Beach Live Kickoff Experiences sounds like a real party. Music, dancing, and surprise appearances should make this the best "tailgate" of the season. The Pre-Game Plaza opens at 3:30 PM, the Loco Beach festivities start at 4:30 PM, and the game begins at 6:30 PM. That's a whole lot of zaniness!

Barbara, I hope you bat a thousand this weekend. Eat some peanuts for me and stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
