Welcome to planDisney, Kathy!
I'm happy to help as you prepare for your stay at a
Deluxe Resort next year. There are so many fantastic resorts to choose from and I'm working my way through the list of options. So far Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's BoardWalk Inn rank as my favorites based on dining options and proximity to the parks. My family has a stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort planned for next summer and I have a feeling it will also get a spot on our favorites list.
No matter where you've decided to stay you are in for a magical time. You'll enjoy complimentary transportation to the parks and beautiful resort theming in addition to
a few extra perks, too. I'm really excited to take advantage of the
arrival day water park admission on my stays next year!
We've seen
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours for guests of Deluxe Resorts offered at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT most weeks this year. Based on the
current Hours & Events Calendar, Magic Kingdom Park has them scheduled on Wednesdays and EPCOT offers extended hours on Mondays. Keep in mind, that this is subject to change and may not be the same for your travel dates.
Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park will also offer Extended Evening Hours again this fall. Wednesday, September 25 marks the first at Disney's Hollywood Studios, with additional offerings scheduled on Wednesday, October 2, and Wednesday, October 16. These dates appear to replace Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom Park.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is scheduled for Extended Hours on both Friday, October 11 and Monday, October 21 at this time.
The Hours & Events Calendar is not available past those dates just yet, but I'm hopeful we'll see a return of Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom Park after Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party end. I recommend reviewing the Hours & Events Calendar as your travel dates approach to see which parks will offer Extended Evening Hours during your trip. This is usually updated about 60 days out. You can also keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for more updates as they become available.
I hope this helps, Kathy. Please come back and see us again with more planning questions!
Magic and memories,
Amy
