Wicked Greetings, Aniesa!
Welcome back to planDisney. I am so happy you stopped by today to ask the Mirror Mirror on the wall your question about
Top Of The World Lounge - A Villains Lair. This special spot, available exclusively to eligible Disney Vacation Club Members - those eligible for Member Extras - is a spellbinding experience atop
Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort. Here, you will step into a wickedly wonderful world that those naughty Disney villains tried to take over, but Disney came to the rescue.
Now, to be one of the poor unfortunate souls to enjoy this experience, you need to be an
eligible Disney Vacation Club Member and use your Membership to book your Disney-owned-and-operated-hotel reservation, which sounds like you did if you are staying at Bay Lake Tower. You are welcome to come to the lounge by checking into the desk and presenting your MagicBand, your Digital Member Card, and your government-issued photo ID with your party.
Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis until the lounge reaches capacity. Check-in time begins at 6:00 p.m. daily and it is open until Midnight. Due to the lounge’s popularity during the Magic Kingdom park fireworks, I recommend arriving as early as possible.
Once in the lounge, there are dastardly delightful drinks and fiendishly fun light fare (appetizers or a dessert) available for purchase ala carte to Guests of the lounge. The real treat is the view, which will put a spell on you, especially during the Nighttime Spectacular in this exclusive space for Members.
Now, if you would like to guarantee a spot for your party, you can book the Wicked Wind Down or Enchantment at the Top Dessert Party, beginning 60 days out from your check-in date. To do this, call
Member Services and they will do their magic to make it happen for you.
Wicked Wind Down is available daily - excluding holidays, special events, and Fridays - and is subject to capacity. The price for this devilishly delicious event, which includes a cocktail and appetizer from the Disney villains-themed menu and the sinfully sweet dessert of the day, is $55 plus tax per person (subject to change).
The Enchantment At The Top Dessert Party is a sinisterly sweet event held most Friday nights and costs $89.00 per adult, plus tax, and $49.00 per child, plus tax (both subject to change.) It is subject to capacity.
I hope you get to enjoy one of the rebellious recipes while taking the best seat in the kingdom to observe the fiendish festivities - the evening fireworks spectacular. If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, Aniesa, fly back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you.
Wickedly Yours,
Keri
