Hi Ricki! I always appreciate Walt Disney World Resort vacation planners who consider every angle to make the most of their visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
A split stay between a value resort and a deluxe resort is such a great idea! You can save some serious money with your value resort reservation, while still experiencing the magic of a Disney Resort hotel! Then you can splurge on a deluxe resort for a night or two and take advantage of the
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit for deluxe resort Guests!
To enjoy the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit, you will need to be booked at your deluxe resort hotel on the night(s) that the benefit is available. So, if you were sleeping at a value resort on the night of the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit, you would not be able to participate, even if you had a reservation for a deluxe resort hotel during your visit. On the other hand, if you were booked at a deluxe resort on the night of the benefit, then you would be able to participate. As my friend Captain Jack Sparrow might say, “Savvy?”
Ricki, while we’re on the topic of benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, keep in mind that you can take advantage of the
Early Theme Park Entry benefit for Guests staying at value, moderate, and deluxe hotels! That means you can enter any Disney Park, any day, 30 minutes prior to the posted opening time! You’ll be amazed at how much you’ll accomplish during that time! Keep in mind that Guests must have valid theme park admission and (at the present time) a Disney Park Pass reservation for the park they wish to enter.
Enjoy that split stay, Ricki! And get into the Disney Parks early and stay late!
Happy Planning!
Jonathan
