I have a 4 day reservation at a Disney World resort at all star resort. I was thinking about getting a deluxe resort for one night during my stay. Can I book another room and still keep my reservation for the same days. I will be traveling alone.

Hiya, Sharon, and welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort visit is waiting just around the river bend, so let's talk about a magical split stay.

My family loves the theming at Disney's All-Star Resorts, and that price point can't be beat. But sometimes it's fun to splurge and treat yourself. It sounds like you still want to stay four nights, but one of the four would be at a Deluxe Resort Hotel. You can certainly do this, Sharon, and I highly recommend it!

The easiest way to make the change would be to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and let a friendly Cast Member check availability and make the change for you. Be sure to have your current reservation information when you call, and do a little online exploring in advance to see which Deluxe Hotels are at the top of your list. If you can be a little flexible, I bet you'll be able to find a practically perfect spot for a luxurious night. Also, just so you know, you might have to pay an additional amount for that night, depending on your current balance.

Did you know Bell Services will move all your luggage to your new hotel during a split stay? Just drop off your bags with them by 11:00 AM, head out to enjoy some Theme Park time, and your bags should be waiting when you arrive at your new resort that evening. My tip would be to plan your night at a Deluxe Hotel at the beginning or end of your visit so you'll only make that move once. It's complimentary, but I'm not a fan of packing any more than I have to!

Sharon, I hope your upcoming visit is all you're dreaming of, and please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
