For a split resort stay, can I take my luggage and purchases with me in the Minnie Van to my next resort?

Hi Angela! Welcome back to planDisney! We’re so happy you’ve come back to see us as you plan another magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

A split stay is one of my favorite ways to experience even more of all that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer! Each resort hotel has its own unique theming and personality, so a split stay is an amazing way to enjoy totally different resort experiences all in one vacation. One night you might be feeling cool island vibes and the next you might be imagining a safari adventure as you look out from your balcony onto the savannah!

Minnie Van™ Service is not only a convenient but fun way to get around Walt Disney World Resort! I love that the vehicles are colorfully decorated in Minnie’s favorite colors and her signature polka dots, but I love even more that they are driven by Walt Disney World Cast Members. Every time I ride, I enjoy conversations with the Cast Members and all of the fun extra tips they share. When you transfer between your two resort hotels, they will be able to move your bags and purchases with you. This is, of course, as space allows, so if you bring enough luggage to move into Cinderella Castle, it might be a tight fit!

As an alternative, there is an even easier way to move your bags! To save you time, Bell Services will transfer your belongings between Disney Resort hotels free of charge. All you need to do is drop your bags with them at the front of the resort in the morning when you check out and they will take care of the rest. While you go enjoy your day, they’ll make a little magic happen and your bags will be waiting for you when you arrive for check-in later in the afternoon at your next resort hotel. It’s important to know that your bags don’t necessarily move right away, so if you need your belongings earlier in the day, transferring them yourself will be the better option.

Angela, I hope this helps you map out a plan to move between resort hotels. If you have any more questions, you know where to find us and we’d love to help add even more pixie dust to your Disney vacation planning!

    See you on Main Street,
    Casey
