Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with a question about your upcoming Walt Disney World visit. I can totally understand your dilemma. With so many amazing hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection, it’s very hard to choose just one when you visit. As Bonnie lamented in Toy Story 4, “I just can’t decide!” One thing’s for sure, if you’re looking for great dining and proximity to the parks you’re visiting, you have some solid choices on your list. These are also beautiful resorts, all breathtaking in their own magical way, and you can’t go wrong with either one. Now, allow the person who hates making a decision to help you make a decision. Hear me out: consider a split stay. You’re visiting
Magic Kingdom for a park day and for
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party as well as
EPCOT and
Disney's Animal Kingdom. You can easily visit Magic Kingdom from
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort via water taxi. You can just as easily visit Magic Kingdom and EPCOT on the Monorail from
Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Getting to Animal Kingdom is super fast on the
Disney bus from
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
I would consider Wilderness Lodge or the Contemporary for my Magic Kingdom and EPCOT days, then plan a resort change to Animal Kingdom Lodge for my Animal Kingdom time. This would allow you to stay at two of your desired three resorts with little to no compromise on
transportation options. Disney cast members will help you get your luggage from one resort to the other with their complimentary luggage transfer service. Just drop your bags off at the
Bell Services location at your first resort on the morning of your check out and request a transfer. You’ll be able to pick your bags up or request an in-room drop off from Bell Services at your new resort later that afternoon or evening when you return from your park day to check in. This is a really great, convenient way to experience the beauty of multiple Disney resorts in one visit.
