Hello there, Joanna. It's so nice to virtually meet you!
It's so exciting that you will be at the
Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days! There's so much to
see and do at the resort right now, but my favorite offering is the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which opens on August 29th and goes until November 23rd, 2024. I've been pouring over
the menus for the Global Marketplaces and cannot wait until I get to experience it myself this coming November. But that means in the meantime,
you're going to have to check everything out and report back on your must-dos and must-tries! Are you up for the challenge? I think so!
At this time, the gondolas on the
Disney Skyliner can typically fit an
Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) and up to 5 or 6 Guests. While the friendly Cast Members at the Disney Skyliner Station will let you know if you can all ride together, if you can, there's a good chance you'll need to fold up the stroller. But if it turns out that you can't be in the same gondola, don't worry. They are quick and breezy rides and you'll likely be able to wave to each other during the journey!
When boarding with an ECV, there's no need to rush. You will board your gondola from a special loading area so that you have extra time. And once you're ready, you'll be able to soar in style! And speaking of soaring, you'll want to check out
Disney Dreams that Soar in
Disney Springs, which is only running until September 2, 2024. So hopefully you'll get to make your way over there to see this jaw-dropping and whimsical
drone show before it ends its limited-time run!
Joanna, enjoy your late summer visit to the resort. If you have any other questions about transportation,
check out the planDisney Podcast episode on Walt Disney World Transportation. And remember, the
Halloween season is already in full swing, so even if it feels like summer (and technically still is), embrace the
falltime atmosphere...and
delicious treats! If you have any other questions,
please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
All Hallow’s Eve has become a night of frolic, where children wear costumes and run amok,
