Hiya, Melody, and thank you for allowing planDisney to help with your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You arrive in a few days, and it sounds like you want to hit the ground running. I like your style! Let's look at transportation options to the International Gateway at
EPCOT.
Your best route from
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is to take a bus or drive to
Disney's Hollywood Studios. The
Disney Skyliner station is in the parking area. I love sailing above the trees in a skyliner gondola! You'll transfer to the EPCOT line at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and from there, you'll be dropped smack dab at the International Gateway entrance.
The
FriendShip Boats are another option from Disney's Hollywood Studios. The launch is a bit past the skyliner station, and the boats are a scenic and pleasant way to start your day. They'll make a few stops along the way, so this might take a bit longer than the skyliner. A final way to get from Disney's Hollywood Studios to EPCOT is to take the paved walking path. I'm a fast walker, so this is probably the route I'd choose.
The above options are complimentary, but if you don't mind paying for a rideshare, that might be the quickest way to get to EPCOT. The driver can drop you at the
Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin Hotel, and it's a 15 to 20-minute walk from there to the International Gateway entrance.
If you need sustenance after traveling to the theme park, stop by
Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Co. between the United Kingdom and Canada Pavilion. I love their Nitro Cold Brew, and the assorted pastries never disappoint.
Melody, I hope your visit is practically perfect! Enjoy EPCOT, and please stop by
planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
